Cyberattacks on oil and chemical sector
The past few days, cyberattacks aimed at oil and chemicals storage facilities have been carried out in The Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Based on our information, it’s not likely that these attacks are part of a coordinated campaign. It is probable that these attacks have been carried out with a criminal intent aimed at financial gain.
The NCSC will monitor the situation closely and will take further actions if necessary.
